Feet Unit

3/18 Assignment — Feet exploration

We were asked to become familiar with the feet structure and study the form. I focused mostly on the bottom part of the foot and tried to understand the general proportion while drawing. I am still trying to learn what types of lines and how many of them are needed to communicate the form.

I drew the same basic structures on both sketchbook and newsprint to experiment with scale.

I added more detailed feet to figure drawings since I haven’t done that in the last unit.

We were asked to draw feet in shoes with different materials. I tried to study the proportions of the shoes compared to feet and how the feet interacts with them.
